Weigh-Tronix Transverse Hammermill/Mixer The P.R.C. utilizes a state-of-the-art computerized transverse hammermill/mixer with a micro ingredient bin attached. The entire system sets on four load cells capable of weigh incoming ingredients from 1 - 4,000 lbs. The micro hopper is also designed with load cells that weigh in the range of .01 to 200 lbs. The unit is capable of thoroughly mixing up to a 3,500 lb batch within 3 minutes. A programmable control panel (CSI 150) with various functions is the nerve center of the device. From the control panel an operator can set pre-design batches to grind, mix, and unload to a desired destination within the feed mill.
