Mr. Joey Bray began his career at SFA in September 2002, when the SFA Broiler Research Center was under construction.  Since then Mr. Bray has overseen all research and rearing of each broiler flock at the BRC. Mr. Bray is the Director of Poultry Research Facilities and is responsible for the operation of all poultry related facilities and technology at SFA. As an instructor in the Agriculture Department, Mr. Bray teaches Introductory Animal Science and Broiler Production. He also coordinates and teaches labs for many of the poultry science courses. Other courses taught include Introductory Poultry Science and numerous guest lectures. Mr. Bray is a co-advisor for the SFA Poultry Science Club.

Mr. Bray is currently working on his PhD in Poultry Management, at Texas A&M University.

Mr. Bray and his wife, Cathryn, have one daughter Madilyn.  Cathryn is currently teaching kindergarten for NISD.
